The Streatham Wells Travel Plan has been put together by both staff and pupils to encourage everyone to leave their cars at home and to walk or cycle to school.
* Have you thought about walking part of the way to school? Try parking your car away from the school and walking the rest of the way. We call this Park and Stride.
* Have you thought about cycling? All cyclists are welcome to use our cycle storage racks.
* Have you thought about car sharing with a neighbour or friend?
SCHOOLS’ ACHIEVEMENTS RECOGNISED BY TRANSPORT FOR LONDON
A number of Lambeth schools applied for Transport for London’s Sustainable Travel accreditation. This accreditation is to reward schools for promoting sustainable travel and is comprised of 3 levels: Sustainable (bronze), Higher (silver) and Outstanding (gold). All Lambeth schools who applied were successful and were invited to award ceremonies held at the Royal Festival Hall and The Natural History Museum.
Special congratulations go to Streatham Wells Primary School, the only Lambeth school receiving Higher (silver) level accreditation this year.
